Neshama (vocalist/musician/songwriter/arranger) is no stranger to the game with more than two decades of recording and writing experience. She has had aspirations to be a great entertainer and has been singing to anyone who would listen since she was about 5 years of age. She has been playing piano since the age of 7, starting with classical pieces before venturing off into other genres of music.  She fell in love with jazz when she started playing the alto saxophone in 11th grade. She’s been in love ever since!

Influenced by many musical stylings–everything from Anita Baker to Diana Krall to Yolanda Adams to Prince and then some–Neshama is a unique artist whose aim is to participate in an energy exchange with her audiences. She follows the path of those before her, creating authentically and releasing REAL music by experimenting with all genres–not limiting herself to the normal constraints faced by most artists today. She does what she feels and will absolutely NOT conform.

Her sound can be described as a fusion of jazz, soul, blues, and funk, peppered with a little hip-hop flavor, but she also masters anything else that comes her way. Her main goal is to reach audiences everywhere, those who truly appreciate MUSIC and those who understand that the metaphorical “box” doesn’t exist. She is ever-evolving as she strives to maintain relevance no matter what the “musical trends” are for the moment.
